Boekel is pleased to present Hot ROCS™ - a Rotary Oven for Chemical Synthesis. Hot ROCS™ provides controlled heating and mixing of reagents during chemical synthesis reactions. The oven fits into a standard fume hood, and works with a variety of different vessels. Hot ROCS™ is a reliable and cost-effective oven for your solid phase or solution phase chemical synthesis needs.
Effective mixing = better results
Unlike other shaking or stirring reactor block products, Hot ROCS™ provides a rotary motion of reaction vessels. The rotary motion allows tumbling of the vessel contents, providing the effective mixing action required for synthesis. This mixing action is particularly beneficial for solid phase synthesis, preventing the resin from settling in the bottom of the vessels.

All controls are easily adjusted from the front of the Hot ROCS™ unit.
Speed
A variable speed from 0 to 60 rpm allows you to achieve the right level of mixing for your process.
Temperature
Hot ROCS™ broad temperature range of up to 100ºC makes it suitable for a variety of different reactions, as well as general laboratory mixing and heating applications. Plus, its PID temperature controller provides rapid heat-up and superior temperature stability, ensuring the reliability of your reactions.
