Histology Wax Dispensers
Paraffin wax plays a vital role in studying the microscopic structure of tissues. Laboratory workers can ensure they have a constant wax supply for this purpose by using heated dispensers. Our melter has a rapid warmup and a 5-liter (1.25-gallon) capacity, and it includes an analog heat dial and a heated valve to dispense wax. The dispenser valve can also be locked in an open position if necessary.

Boekel Scientific has the largest paraffin wax dispenser in the industry, with a capacity of 28 liters (7.4 gallons). Even with its large volume, this device can melt from pellets to molten wax in as little as four hours. A heated and filtered spigot ensures that paraffin flows freely once warm.
This device has intuitive heat controls for ease of use and a stainless steel interior to prevent corrosion over years of service. With use of the Hot Start warmup feature, lab personnel can use a timer to melt wax before operation and make lab work more efficient.
