Hartmann's Fixative AKA Modified Davidson's Fixative (Hazardous Material - Ground Shipment Only To Continental United States | not for sale outside of the 48 contiguous states)
Modified Davidson's Fixative is a superior alternative to Bouin's Fixative. Not only is it safer, but it also produces less shrinkage and superior overall morphologic detail compared to Bouin's when used to fix testes for routine histopathological examination. Modified Davidson's Fixative is used routinely for optimum fixation of eyes. It can support excellent staining of acrosomes with periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) reagent when staging of spermatogenesis is required.
