Boekel Scientific introduces an economy line of centrifuges for primary site collection and centrifugation of specimens. This 642 series product family allows for low-cost alternatives to the rest of the larger line of Boekel centrifuges. The 642 series includes an analog version, a two-button digital version, and a mobile phlebotomy version with a vehicle adaptor power cord set.
Reliability in specimen testing is necessary for accuracy of clinical results and diagnoses. An important pre-analytical step involves proper centrifugation, storage, and transport of the collection specimens. Prompt horizontal centrifugation at the primary collection site and controlled-temperature transport greatly enhances the quality of specimens for testing.
The mobile centrifuge of this line is ideal for the at-home phlebotomist or when setting up a mobile field laboratory. At less than a foot wide and only 11 lbs, this centrifuge is easily transportable and comes with an automotive cord set for powering. It comes with a 6-place removable rotor and 6 blue, 75-100mm tube holders.
